Chapter 7 A New Life

 

Ruby walked in New York

The air seemed cleaner

Everything seemed brighter

By luck, she attained Ruby Thursday's abilities

Then Misty Beck, Human Torch and Vision

Then technologies like the Murderworld Nanobots, the Crimson Cloak and the Guardian suit

She sat at a cafe, confident if anything happens, she could handle it

And like clockwork, another explosion happened

She didn't flee this time, her eyes glowing

She opened her legs, revealing she wasn't wearing panties, and released her nanobots

She walked out of the cafe and took to the sky

Her eyes glowed and she flew towards Mysterio with nanobots flying around her

As she had Misty Beck's powers, she could reverse Mysterio's illusions. Furthermore, with her Nanobots, she can make those ealisy chages real

"Mindy? Where have you been? Why are you defying me?" Mysterio asked

"Damn, I forgot I am using Misty's face. Although I grew her hair, a father would still recognise his own child, creation or not" Ruby thought

"It is my desire to be a hero now. I hope the first villian I take down won't be you" Ruby said in Misty's voice

"You want to be on the side of the angels now? Alright, I won't hinder you. I will stop for now" Mysterio said, then vanished

"So, a father will do anything for his child. I imagine what he will do when I finds out his real daughter has been killed and replaced by me" Ruby thought as she descended to the city ground below

That night, Ruby had her grant opening of her magic show. The theater was packed

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I am your magician for tonight. My name is Ruby" she said on stage

"Without further ado, I will start. For my first, illusion, I want to call up luminaries I see among the Audiance. New York's finest, the Fantastic Four!"  she said

The crowd clapped as one by one they took a stool. "Ladies and Gentlemen, Reed Richards! Only three of you tonight?" Ruby asked Mr Fantastic aka Reed Richards. "No.. Ben had a date" Reed said

"Susan Storm" she introduced, and Sue smiled

"And Johnathan Storm" Ruby announced

"Now, the simplest way to demonstrate my magic is to emulate any of your powers" Ruby said

"How about you, Susan? Give us a demonstration of your powers" Ruby said. "Ok, I am sorry to embarress you, but you asked for it." susan said and looked at Ruby

ruby, and the audiance gasped as her dress turned invisible

"Very well, tit for tat" Ruby said as her vagina glowed red, releasing nanobots. For her revenge, she wouldn't use illusion but change reality with her nanobots

Susan gasped and quickly crossed her legs and covered her breasts

Ruby's dress immediately reappeared. Sue can turn things invisible, but Ruby made them disappear! If she used illusion, Sue would be seen to be naked, but in actuality it is her illusion of her naked, not her being really naked

Sue appeared in a red dress, like Ruby's. "What happened to my costume?" Sue asked. "My powers are different to yours. It's not invisibility. I made your costume disappear. And I made a dress appear on you" Ruby said. The crowd clapped as Ruby walked over to the next person

"Hello Jonathan" Ruby said. "I prefer Johnny "he said. "Ok Johnny, can you give us a demonstration of your abilities?" Ruby asked

"Flame on!" Johnny cried out and his whole body caught fire

"I can do that too" Ruby said, using the android human torch's powers. The crowd clapped

Johnny immediately turned off his flames

As did Ruby. She turned to Reed Richards

Reed was staring at her intently. "You're a reality warper aren't you?" Reed asked

"Uh... is this about Sue's costume?" Ruby asked

Althought the suit is expensive since it is coated with unstable molecules, the dress is very nice, No, I would like to study you, if you don't mind

"Uh.. It would be a pleasure to sir" Ruby said. And with that, the show ended
